Includes mounting bracket kit with adjusting arm, Delco 10SI 1-Wire 63-Amp Alternator with a 1/2" pulley pre-installed, and an internally resisted 12-Volt Coil, Hot Rated up to 55,000 Volts.
Installation: This alternator converts a 6-volt system to a 12-volt negative-ground system. Connect the alternator output through the ammeter to the positive side of the battery. Engine speed must reach approximately 800–850 RPM for the alternator to self-excite.
Alternator Specifications: Output: 63 amps, System: 12-volt negative ground, Housing diameter: 6-1/4", Pulley diameter: 2-1/2", Pulley belt width: 1/2" (pre-installed), Mounting bolt spacing: 6-3/8" center to center, Built-in self-exciter.
The alternator must be grounded to the mounting bracket. Remove paint or powder coating at the mounting contact points as needed to provide a solid ground connection.
Brackets may come Primered (Ready to Paint), or Painted - Customer is responsible for ensuring necessary Grounding is completed for install.
