Commonly used to convert from 6 Volt to 12V Alternator Conversion on many Tractor makes and models (12V Negative Ground)
Wire from alternator through ammeter to positive side of battery- Self Excited, Must bring Engine RPM to 800-850 to self excite. Once Alternator has been excited, you may operate as needed RPM as necessary.

** Comes standard with 5/8" Pulley. If your belt size is 1/2" or 3/4", you may need to purchase the correct size pulley needed, replace your belt with the correct size that is 5/8", or in some cases, you may remove your pulley from your Generator and install it on the Alternator.
Housing Diameter 6 1/4" - Center to center mounting 6 3/8". This is not the "mini" alternator that may be required on some models such as the Farmall Cub Tractors
